Pregame Januar 26.

From the Coach:

It will be an important game as we continue our 6 game road schedule in Esbjerg with important points on the line. We played them earlier in the month in their arena and we were able to come away with a shootout victory. We expect another close game with the Esbjerg.

We are well aware that Esbjerg has one of the strongest lineups in the league, they have the ability to beat every team in the league. In order to control their strong play we will need to concentrate on the following items that they do very well:

1) Traffic at the Offensive Goal

2) Create opportunities off Turnovers

3) Protect the Front of our Net

They are led by some key players that are having exceptional seasons.

Lysak: is among the leaders in goal scoring, and in my opinion the best player in the league at playing directly in front of the goal.
Nillson: back from injury, he is big player providing lots of energy for the team
Fransson: he is a good goaltender that can control the rebounds when he see the shot clearly

Keys for Success:

In order to have success against Esbjerg there are few factors we must concentrate our efforts:

1) Protect the front of our goal as they will constantly attack the net

2) Eliminate Turnovers in the NZ

3) More shots on Goal with Players at the Net
