We have two home games as we enter into the Christmas season and it is important for the team to do well in these two games. Of course the points in the League standings are important, but we want to finish the half way point of the season on a positive note, as we progress into the second half of the season.

Over the past 3 games we have played well, but our focus is to put together a 60 minute game. We have gained points over the past 3 games, and have not lost in regulation time, with a shootout and overtime loss. In this regard that is positive. Obviously scoring goals has been our shortcoming thus far, and we will need more contributions from all players in order for us to be successful. We cannot depend on 2 or 3 players to score all the goals, and not expect our goaltending duo to win games with without offensive support.

Esbjerg is a team that is hungry for a win. In their last games they have played 5 one goal games and one 2-0 game. While they have not been winning the games it is obvious they are playing well, and will need to be focused mentally and physically for the challenge. The have a few key players we will need to pay special attention:

Lysak: has been scoring this season, and in my opinion the best player in the league at playing directly in front of the goal.
Lee: has given the team a good lift this season with some energy, and has scored in each game against us thus far.
Fransson: last game he made some good saves and we need to generate more offense with 2 meters of the net to be successful, as he is a good goaltender.

When we can put together a complete 60 minute game, can get scoring contributions players from throughout the team, and neutralize their top players, we put ourselves in a position to win, and that will be the key.

Ryan Huddy & Orjan Lindmark have been selected by the Press for All Star Game vs. Danish National Team
Chris Falloon is currently 5th in Points among Import players – 8th Overall with 16 Points
Dan Rudisuela is currently 4th in Goals among Import players – 5th Overall with 9 Goals
Anders Federsen & Nicklas Dabbagh will be with the U20 Danish National Team for the upcoming tournament

Christmas for Kids:

In the Spirit of Christmas we would invite everyone to bring new or gently used toys to the next two home games, or anytime to the Team Office. The team will visit the local Hospitals and Orphanages to spread some Holiday Cheer and distribute the gifts. Thank you for being part of the Bulldog Family and this wonderful community service.
