Hey Brian. Congratulations with the victory in Rungsted,
great game to watch on TV. What did you talk about after the 1st
period, you all played so good and much more aggressively in the 2nd
period – great to see. But in the 3rd period – after Rungsted had
scored, it seemed that you all stood a little more still – but then we
have you in the goal – you did a great job again tonight. I want to
wish you, your family and the whole team a very merry christmas

madsHi Jonna

We definitely weren’t satisfied with our first period against Rungsted. What we discussed during the break was pretty simple. We basically said that we have to regroup and bring up our level of play or that it was very unlikely that we were going to walk away with the 3 points. As you said we came out more aggressive in the second, which is something that we need to do to be successful. If you are not playing aggressive you give other teams too much time to make decisions, and they will make you pay for it. So I think it was very positive that we were able to accomplish the our goal we set for ourselves in the second period.

When Rungsted scored in the 3rd we definitely stopped playing aggressive for a little while. I think a smart timeout by our coach (Dean Fedorchuk) in the middle of the 3rd period helped us regroup mentally and get back on track to our task of winning the game.

Thank you very much for the Christmas wish. I hope that you and your family have a great Christmas, and Merry Christmas to all the fans.

Take care,
Brian
